Invisalign

Invisalign consists of clear plastic aligners that are custom-fitted to your mouth. They apply pressure to your teeth to move them into the desired position in a gradual way. You are provided with several sets to change between every week or so, and you will normally need to have checkups with your orthodontist in Stoke every 6 weeks. The beauty of Invisalign is that the aligners can be removed when you eat and drink, as well as for special occasions or sports. You simply need to wear them for around 22 hours a day. Treatment can be as little as 6-18 months and is used for mild to moderate alignment issues such as overcrowding, gapping, crossbite, as well as under or overbites.

Lingual braces

For some people, having fixed metal braces is required. With lingual braces, Ashlow Orthodontics has a solution for such a scenario. The wires and brackets are fixed to the backs of your teeth, so nobody will know that you are wearing braces when you flash your pearly whites – smile away! The Incognito Lingual Bracket System is designed for all age groups and is custom-fitted to suit the shape and size of your teeth. We examine your mouth and prescribe what needs to be made bespoke to suit your mouth.

Clear braces

For some patients, another treatment option that may suit them best is fixed braces that have clear plastic brackets that are attached to the front of the teeth making them far less noticeable than traditional unsightly metal braces.
