Invisalign

One of our popular discreet methods of alignment is Invisalign. As the name suggests, the clear plastic aligners are almost invisible to other people when you are wearing them. They sit over your teeth like a gum shield, but far more streamlined. They apply gentle pressure to your teeth to gradually move them into the desired position. The beauty of Invisalign is that the aligners can be removed for up to 2 hours every day! This means that you can remove them when brushing and flossing, as well as when you eat and drink, allowing you to follow a normal diet, as well as a normal oral hygiene routine.

Invisalign’s aligners are made to fit your mouth thanks to iTero technology which is used to take a 3D scan of your mouth and from which your aligners will then be made to measure. From this scan, you will also be able to see an animation of how your teeth will look once treatment has been completed, which can be a really exciting prospect when you are about to start wearing your aligners. You will be provided with sets of aligners to change between on a fortnightly basis, so you will only need to pop in to see us every 6 weeks for a check-up. Treatment can be completed in as little as 6 months, so you won’t need to take a lot of time off work or school!
